Once again, I'm utilizing free electricity and wi-fi, this time at the public library. It's a great people watching spot. I can see the people going up and down the stairs without feeling like I'm staring at them. In a nearby carol there is a young lady totally engrossed in a paperback. It reminds me of myself years ago. I would read for hours at the library, usually to make sure the book was worth the investment of my time before I checked it out. (Or sometimes because I knew mom wouldn't want me reading that kind of book! Thank God I'm delivered from that - FOR REALS.) I'm probably sitting in one of the noisiest spots in the library, but somehow it's not distracting. Everyone is busy doing what they came here to do, and so am I.
I'm working on a blog post for Gut Level Christianity. I confess I check my stats almost every time I go there. One post from October of 2010 still gets random hits from around the globe. The title is Who's Your Daddy? A part of me is slightly disturbed, but then I think about how much a person who may be in icky bondage (that we don't need to detail or discuss here) needs to be reminded about who God is. So...the Lord does work in mysterious ways sometimes.
Randomness completed. Back to work.
