I was doing some running research and discovered this evening that I have poor running form. I hit my heels hard all the way around the track. (This is also the way I walk...just look at the bottom of any of my shoes.) Apparently I'm supposed to be landing on the middle to the front of my foot and pushing off into my next stride. I'm putting myself on a training regimen to improve my stride. I'll keep you updated.

Tae Kwon Do class warm up! Pilsung!! |
It's ironic that I'm excited about running and planning for quicker, better running workouts. When I was a child a hated running! Looking back I think it was the fact that running around other people pointed out how much of a graceful gazelle I wasn't. Now that I've grown up and come to terms with not being a gazelle, running has more appeal.
Alot of my favorite scriptures involve running. (Hebrews 12:1-2, Isaiah 40:31, 1 Corinthians 9:24-27) Chariots of Fire is one of my favorite movies! I've always admired running and been inspired by runners. Now I am one!
