Hi friends, my name is David Peasel. My purpose in writing this blog is to bless the reader with what the Holy Spirit put on my heart to share with those of you who will read this today. I do not blog to be noticed, I blog to Bless God by following what He put on my heart today for now not later. Be Blessed as you read, and remember my purpose is to see people grow strong in faith, in their walk with the Lord, To Bless and not to hurt, only to add to your effectiveness in Christ. To help you maintain the joy of your salvation and live on the victory side of life in Him. Here goes:
Believers are not to allow distraction or discouragement to pull them out of their prayer closets when seeking His face. The way to progress in Christ may at times seem slow and pointless when being still and spending time in prayer. Yet we must CHOOSE to remain steadfast in the activity of seeking God daily, and we will reap the benefits of progression on the path God has ordained for our lives. (Ephesians 2:10)
We sometimes are tempted to quit early in our prayer time with thoughts like: This isn't responsible. YOU should be doing something else to fix your current situation or attending to other things. When this temptation is yielded to the result is a malnourished heart for that day's affairs and a Believer who will now be directed by his or her own thoughts and abandon the Holy Spirit's leadership in their day. You will then be subjected to anxiety, confusion, and probably a lack of patience as you operate in your own strength trying to fix things on your own. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
To be led by the Holy Spirit we must not let other things pull us out of our time of fellowship with Him each day. Be Blessed as you purpose to be strong In Him (Ephesians 6:10) each and everyday in all things. This is the life of faith that pleases God! In His service and Christ's Love-David A Peasel
