| Hello, little crabapple! |
- the crabapple tree outside our bay window
- crisp fall weather
- my new scarf, finished on Sunday
- good simple food like apple crisp, homemade bread, mashed potatoes and chicken and noodles (yes I do enjoy my carbs!)
- candles glowing in a clean house with classical music (or jazz or rock or whatever the mood dictates) playing in the background
- chocolate
- watching a cat take a nap (they make everything seem luxurious)
- letters from friends
- fresh linens
- homemade cookies
- a new fingernail polish color (all the ladies say, yeah!)
- genuine hugs
- finishing a good book
- starting a good book!
- a well filmed movie with a well crafted plot
- a good nights rest after a good days work
All this reflection started with the little crabapple sitting on my sidewalk this afternoon. God is good!
