"Spiritual Patrol In Christ Jesus"

Do you realize that you are responsible to keep watch over the spiritual landscape of your own life and be sure that the enemy of your soul is not making inroads to your life and advancing his destructive plots against you. Your job is to stay spiritually alert in Christ Jesus and pray about any situation that needs prayer and God's divine intervention. Keep the victory secured and the enemy's activity null and void as far as depends on you; be a faithful soldier on patrol doing his or her job and not sleeping spiritually. 1Peter 5:8 says: Be sober, be VIGILANT; because your adversary the devil, like a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: verse 9 says: whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are experienced by your brothers and sisters in this world that you are in also.( I paraphrased v.9;kjv translation a little hard to grasp) The word VIGILANT means to keep awake, to be watchful!
